The 5th QWAG Quaggy Duck Race  in Manor Park from 2pm. 
Register from 1pm if you havent already pre- booked. If you missed booking your race place for the 5th Great #QuaggyDuckRace there is some space left if you want to turn up on the day.
Even better if you can bring a rubber or similar floating creature QWAG are running low on ducks!  (200 entrants so far! )

Hither Green Christmas Fair This Saturday!


Date:  Saturday 1st Decemeber.
Time: 12-5
Location: Staplehurst Road.

The Countdown to the Hither Green Christmas Fair has started! Come and enjoy 70 stalls, musical guests, hot food, handmade gifts for family and Christmas trees. Plus Santa will be in his Station Hotel grotto!

Also any unwanted and unloved items that could be used for the Tombola, books or Bricabrac stall can be dropped off at 56 Manor Park.

Remembrance Sunday- Commemorative Events this Weekend

This weekend marks the centenary of the Armistice and it is being commemorated across Hither Green and its environs. From British Legion events at The Broadway Theatre to memorial concerts, poppy drops, Evensongs and Armed Service Parades. Links with details about each event below.

Crowdfunding for Lewisham

Spacehive is back in Lewisham
It’s a crowdfunding platform for projects that improve spaces and places.
They are currently looking for local projects in London to be part of Crowdfund London 2018. This is a £1m fund on Spacehive, from which the Mayor of London could pledge up to £50,000 per project.

ASTHMA: 45,000 Support local family’s petition for new inquest

Our community is continuing to rally behind the Kissi-Debrah family. They lost Ella to severe asthma at 9 years old.The family are currently appealing to the Attorney General to re-open up Ella’s inquest in order to consider fresh evidence about levels of pollution in Hither Green.
